The Iowa Smart Agriculture Work Group (IASAWG)
Solutions from the Land and Iowa State University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences are supporting a special self-directed Work Group, composed of Iowa agricultural thought leaders and value chain partners, who are together exploring and assessing the impacts that extreme weather events and changing climatic conditions are having and are expected to have on the state's #1 industry.
The Florida Climate Smart Agriculture Work Group (FLCSAWG)
In collaboration with the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS), Solutions from the Land initiated in late 2018 a climate smart agriculture dialogue with a group of highly respected and well networked agricultural and forestry thought leaders and value chain partners in the state.
The Missouri Smart Agriculture Work Group (MOSAWG)
Representatives of Missouri's ag stakeholders were joined in facilitated dialogue by numerous technical experts and natural resource professionals to discuss changing climatic conditions, their impact on agriculture and forestry in the state, and adaptation solutions and strategies for a resilient, productive, and profitable future.
The North American Climate Smart Agriculture Alliance (NACSAA)
The North American Climate Smart Agriculture Alliance (Alliance) provides platforms for engagement, dialogue, knowledge sharing and application of climate science to the agriculture and forestry sectors.
The North Carolina Agriculture and Forestry Adaptation Work Group (NC-ADAPT)
Exploring the impacts of increasingly extreme weather events and changing climatic conditions on the agricultural and forestry sectors of North Carolina, and constructing an adaptive management plan to improve agriculture and forestry resiliency and further enhance the economic viability of these sectors for decades to come.
